You'll meet countless fictional characters, and read their fictional tales. Tales which include fights, drinking, some more fights, dodgy dealings, a bit of golf and then probably some more fights.
It's very laddish, it's very non-PC, ("Sexist Drivel" according to one astute reader) but if you know golf you'll smile a few times and I guarantee you'll recognise some of the characters.
Entirely written down the pub when the author had been on the sauce, and with not even a hint to any kind of ongoing storyline, it's the perfect book for reading in the bog.
